OUR PHILOSOPHY

Downtown law firm with small town service is not just a marketing catchphrase, at Zia Ilic Ltd it is our philosophy. We treat our clients like we treat our friends and family: we go out of our way to accommodate their needs.

Beyond 9-5. We are not tied to standard business hours. We understand that our clients can’t meet between the typical hours of 9 to 5 and we will accommodate your needs. This means whatever works for you, earlier in the morning, after work, and even on weekends.

Beyond the office. Our office is located in downtown Chicago at 180 N LaSalle St on the 37th Floor, but our meetings take place where it’s most convenient for you. Suburban office meetings are available and if the need arises, our attorneys can and will visit you at your home, hospital, assisted living facility, or jail.

Access to attorneys. If you are ever in the need to speak to your attorney regarding your case, you will speak to your attorney. Secretaries, assistants, paralegals, will not field your phone calls… Your case: your attorney.

Flexible billing options. We offer a number of billing options: traditional retainer, flat fee, or contingency fee. We are willing to work with you in order to set-up the best billing option based on the goals of your representation.

Client centered approach. We do not have a cookie-cutter approach to your representation. On a case-by-case basis, our attorneys review each client’s matter. We’ll suggest a course of action only after determining your goals, needs, and concerns. Our attorneys have extensive and in-depth knowledge of various areas of the law and the traditional approach may not be your best option. For instance, if a client is presented with a collection suit, depending on the circumstances, there are other options than automatic bankruptcy; we will work to find those options. They could include defending the lawsuit, bringing a counterclaim under the consumer protection laws, or negotiating a favorable settlement. At Zia Ilic Ltd, if we cannot add value to your case, we won’t take it.
